Vegan Children

Xhamari, 1 years old

Here is a picture of my beautiful and healthy niece who is a VEGAN! That's right people V-E-G-A-N! I often wondered why when you tell people that your child has never  been exposed to meat or diary, they automatically think you are depriving them. Especially in the black community! It is always "Why you making them suffer." ATTENTION! ATTENTION! We condition our children to speak, walk, talk, and eat a certain way. If you go to China and you see young children using sticks to eat their meals; Are Chinese parents depriving their children of silverware? The reality is WE are the first teachers.

Naturally children will refuse any animal products given to them. That's why baby food only comes in vegetables and fruits after a certain age group. When that age group passes, the parents then start to  incorporate animal products to their child's diet. For some crazy reason we also think by not feeding are children animal products,  that they are not receiving the proper nutrients or vitamins. Vegetables, fruits, beans, nuts, and legumes supply more than enough protein, iron, calcium, and other nutrients our doctors recommend to us. Studies shows that vegan children are smarter, stronger, faster than children who consume animal products. Furthermore, they are less likely to get sick.
